HMD Global had surprised the smartphone industry earlier this year by launching the Nokia 9 PureView with five rear-mounted cameras. A new leak reveals that Sony is working on a smartphone with six rear-facing cameras. There is no accurate information on the arrangement of the camera sensors. However, an image that speculates that the six camera setup of the mysterious Sony phone is now doing rounds on social media sites.
The leak reveals that the mysterious phone will be featuring dual front-facing cameras. The smartphone is also rumored to arrive with advanced facial recognition technology. It is speculated that the six camera setup of the mysterious phone will include a superwide lens, a telephoto sensor and a ToF sensor. There could be two monochrome sensors in the setup.
