Previously, we had reported a couple of alleged renders of the upcoming Honor 9 dressed in Black, Blue as well as light Purple.
Today, a fresh pair of leaked renders belonging to the device had been brought to the spotlight, this time round showing off its top and bottom underside views. As seen above, it is obvious that the Chinese company had ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack this time round – a move which was undertaken by the newly unveiled Xiaomi Mi6 as well. Hence, the bottom side of the upcoming Honor 9 will only be coming with the audio grill and the USB Type-C port.
Other than the removal of the headphone jack, there isn’t any other distinctive differences on the undersides compared to the current Honor 8 flagship. Even for the overall design, the new Honor 9 seems to be built upon the same design language as the Honor 8 except the former will be coming with a front-facing fingerprint sensor instead of having it at the back. Specs-wise of course, we do expect it to be coming with a bumped by specs including the inclusion of the latest Kirin 960 SoC.
