By the end of this year, Honor is rumored to announce the Honor V40 and Honor Magic 3 flagship phones. However, at present, there is no official information available on the specs of these flagships. An exclusive report by Hi Tech Mail, a Russian tech blog reveals that Honor is readying a new mid-range phone for the Russian market. The report that carries some live shots of the phone states that it will be breaking cover first in the Russian markets.
The report reveals that the model number of the mysterious Honor mid-ranger is DNN-LX9. The model number was previously seen at the Eurasian Economic Certification (EEC) platform. Expect for the size of the screen, there is no other information available on the specs of the Honor DNN-NX9 smartphone.
The Honor DNN-LX9 is equipped with a 6.67-inch display. The live shots fail to show the entire screen because of which it is difficult to say that whether the phone has a notch-less display, or a punch-hole screen.
The rear side of the phone seems to be made out of glossy plastic. The back panel has curved edges. None of the shots show the rear camera setup of the device. It can be seen that the phone has a side-facing fingerprint sensor, which is embedded under the power button. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone hole, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille are visible on the bottom side of the phone.
The Honor DNN-LX9 carries support for rapid charging, but the exact charging speed is not known yet. The report by the Russian publication concludes by saying that the phone will be launching soon in Russia.
