Huawei consumer business group CEO Yu Richard took to Weibo to confirm the arrival of a new MatePad product. The launch event will be held on Nov. 25. Based on the rumors it can be said that the company will be unleashing the MatePad Pro on the said date
The new MatePad launch event will be held in Shanghai on Nov. 25. On the very next day, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be debuting the Honor V30 series on Nov. 26. The MatePad Pro is expected to arrive with flagship phones.
Leaked information that has surfaced so far has revealed that the MatePad Pro. It will be the world’s first table to feature a punch-hole display. It could be embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader. Also, it will be the first tablet to feature dual rear-facing cameras. As of this writing, there is no information available on the front and rear cameras of the MatePad Pro.
The Kirin 990 SoC and 8 GB of RAM is expected to fuel the slate. The device may come with 256 GB of storage. The 3C listing of the tablet has revealed that it will carry support for 40W fast charging. It has also bagged TENAA certification. The tablet will be also equipped with support for optional keyboard through its magnetic connectivity port and an M-Pen stylus.
