Since the POCO brand spun off the parent company Xiaomi at the beginning of this year, the company has launched a handful of phones this year. The company recently unveiled the POCO X3 NFC in global markets. The same phone debuted as the POCO X3 in India with slight modifications. A fresh tweet by the Product Marketing Manager and Global Spokesperson for POCO has hinted that a new POCO phone will be debuting soon.
The tweet that carries the #POCOComingSoon hashtag has no clues on the name of the device that will be launching soon. In a recent interview, the POCO India Country Director Anuj Sharma had claimed that the POCO F2 Pro is not the true successor for the POCO F1 that debuted back in 2018. The F2 Pro did not debut in India. It appears that the company is planning to launch a real successor for the POCO F1, but it is not expected to break cover soon. It is still unclear whether the POCO F1’s successor will debut this year or next year.
The company is expected to announce the POCO Poo Buds, which will be the first true wireless earbuds from the company. Its launch event could possibly see the arrival of a new POCO phone.
Interestingly, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved a new POCO phone that has a model number of M2010J19CG. The same model was spotted receiving certification from China’s MIIT regulatory body recently. A reliable tipster from China claimed that the 4G-ready handset could be the Redmi Note 10 4G. Hence, it appears that the M2010J19CG could be a rebranded Note 10 4G for international markets.
At present, there is no word on the specifications of the Redmi Note 104 4G. In related news, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G that debuted recently is expected to get rebranded as the Redmi Note 10 series and the MI 10T may arrive as the Redmi K30S phone in China.
