New Redmi 5G Phone’s Full Specifications Appear on TENAA

A new Redmi phone that has a model number of M2004J7AC has been spotted at China’s TENAA certification platform. It has revealed the entire specs of the phone and images. The identity of the phone is not known yet.

As can be seen, the Xiaomi M2004J7AC smartphone measures 164.15 x 75.75 x 8.99mm and weighs 208 grams. The device houses a big OLED display of 6.57 inches that supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The rated capacity of its battery is 4,420mAh. The 3C listing of the smartphone had revealed that it is a 5G-ready. The TENAA listing also confirms it once again. The 3C listing had revealed that the phone could be coming with a 22.5W fast charger.

The handset is powered by a 2.6GHz octa-core processor.  It is expected to come to China in variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The Android 10 OS will come preloaded on the phone. There is a microSD card slot on board for more storage. The main lens of the rear-mounted triple camera setup is a 48-megapixel. For capturing selfies, it has a front camera of 16-megapixel.

Coming to the images of the phone, the handset seems to feature a waterdrop notch screen. The right side of the phone has a volume rocker and a red-colored power key. There is a square-shaped camera module at the back. It houses three cameras and an LED flash.

What could be the identity of the mysterious Redmi phone? There is a possibility that it could be the rumored Dimensity 800 powered smartphone from the company. Hence, it is expected to debut as the cheapest 5G phone.
