Following the success of the Vivo X60 series smartphones, Vivo is now gearing up for the launch of the brand new Vivo X70 series smartphones which could be announced as early as September next month.
As usual, the upcoming Vivo X70 series lineup is slated to feature at least three different models in the global market, including the vanilla X70, X70 Pro, as well as the ultra-premium Vivo X70 Pro+.
Today, courtesy of acclaimed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, we’re finally able to have our first look at the middle child, Vivo X70 Pro 5G, which will be succeeding the Vivo X60 Pro 5G (Review).
As seen in the CAD-based renderings, the Vivo X70 Pro 5G will be arriving with a curved display upfront which is said to measure 6.5” diagonally. Although there’s no details on this, but it’s likely to be an AMOLED display that’s accompanied by high refresh rate.
On the rear side of the phone, we’re be looking at a redesigned camera module which now houses a quad-camera system instead of a triple-cam setup that we saw on the Vivo X60 Pro 5G.
In terms of specs, we did know from it’s recent Geekbench listing that the phone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset just like the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G (Review).
As for the rest of the specs, they remain largely under the wraps at the moment, but we’ll probably find out more about them as we edge closer towards it’s launch.
