Xiaomi is expected to release the Mi 6 flagship in March this year, according to the company’s VP and we were really expecting to see the device in benchmark and other leak sources that would give us the true picture of what Xiaomi has packed inside the device. Rather, a new Xiaomi smartphone dubbed Xiaomi Mix Evo has been spotted on benchmark website Geekbench.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi Mix Evo features an octa-core 1.90GHz processor which is said to come with the MSM8998 motherboard model which shows this is the Snapdragon 835 onboard the device. The Mix Evo is also listed as packing 4GB of RAM and running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Coming to the Geekbench test score, the device listed with a single-core test score of 1918, and 5689 points on the multi-core test, which isn’t a bad score at all. We don’t know when this new device will come out, becuase the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected as the first Xiaomi phone that would be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chip. We hope to see further details about the Mix Evo which seems to have evolved from the Xiaomi Mi Mix concept phone.
