Earlier today, HMD Global had confirmed that it will be debuting a new Nokia phone in Oct. 4. It is speculated that the Nokia X7 smartphone will be debuting in the coming month. A render of the Nokia X7 have already surfaced earlier this week. Today, popular tipster @OnLeaks has shared 360-degree renders of the Nokia 7.1 Plus smartphones.
Nokia 7.1 Plus renders reveal that the handset features a notched screen. The bottom edge of the phone features a USB-C port and a bottom-firing speaker. The left side of the Nokia 7.1 Plus features a microphone and SIM card slot. The top edge of the handset has a 3.5mm audio jack and an extra microphone. The volume rocker and a power key is located on the right side of the device.
The notch of the Nokia 7.1 Plus features a front-facing camera and an earpiece. The back panel of the phone is fitted with a dual camera setup with ZEISS branding. A fingerprint scanner is also present on the rear side of the device.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it may include an internal storage of 128 GB. It will be an Android One phone that will feature Android 9 Pie onboard. The same phone is expected to debut as Nokia X7 in China.
