The Nokia 8, the highly anticipated flagship smartphone from the Finnish brand has been officially launched. The design of the smartphone is no comparison to current trend of launching smartphones with super-slim bezels and full-screen display. The handset is built with 6000-series aluminum and IP54 certification brings protection against from splashes.
The Nokia 8 has a 5.3-inch Quad HD display LCD that is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. When the phone is not in use, the display functions in low power consumption mode to display some alerts for missed calls and messages. The Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4 GB of RAM are present under the hood of the device. It may also come in 6 GB RAM model.
The 13-megapixel Carl ZEISS dual rear cameras that includes a monochrome and a RGB sensor are accompanies with features like dual-LED flash and OIS. The Dual-Sight mode can be used videos from the front and rear cameras simultaneously and then livestream to social sites like Facebook and YouTube. The OZO technology from Nokia comes into play to record 360-degree audio. A 3,090mAh battery powers the Nokia 8. It comes loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Nokia 8 carries a pricing of 600 euros (~$705). It will be coming to the European markets by Sept. 6. It is also expected to arrive in the Asian markets in the next month. It can be availed in colors like Tempered Blue, Steel and Polished Copper.
