HMD Global will be holding a launch event on December 5 in Dubai, UAE to announce new smartphones. Since the rumor mill has claimed that the Nokia 9 PureView flagship phone may go official before the end of the year, it is speculated that the flagship phone may get announced at the upcoming Dubai launch event. Fresh case renders of the alleged Nokia 9 PureView smartphone have surfaced to reveal its penta-lens setup.
The Nokia 9 PureView case renders reveal that the cutouts of the camera lenses are arranged in hexagon shape. Apart from two cutouts that are meant for laser sensor and dual-tone LED flash, other holes are meant for the five cameras of the phone. The fingerprint scanner is missing from the rear panel of the smartphone. This could be because the smartphone will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The USB-C port cutout is present on the bottom side of the case. The other cutouts on the same edge seems to belong to microphone and external speaker. Rumors surrounding the Nokia 9 PureView have revealed that it won’t be featuring a 3.5mm audio jack since the Nokia 8 Sirocco flagship phone that was released earlier this year also lacked it. Hence, the cutout on the top edge of the case could belong to another microphone.
The rumor mill has revealed that the phone will be featuring a 5.99-inch QHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 4,150mAh battery are expected to power the device.
