The rumor mill has revealed that the Nokia 9 is the upcoming flagship phone from HMD Global. Today, a leaked image of the display panel of the allege Nokia 9 has appeared to reveal its bezel-less design.
Nokia Power User that was first report on the above image claims that the leaked photo does not come from a trusted source. However, it does not appear fake. Rumors are rife that the Nokia 9 would be featuring a 5.5-inch or 5.7-inch OLED display.
The publication claims that the bezel-less Nokia 9 smartphone would be sporting an edge-to-edge display. The screen is expected to produce a QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The Snapdragon 835 chipset is expected to power the handset with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. It is speculated to come with an internal storage of 128 GB.
It is also speculated to feature an IP68 certified dust and water-resistant chassis. Like the Nokia 8 flagship, the Nokia 9 is likely to feature dual rear cameras. It may sport the same dual camera setup that is available on the Nokia 8. It also expected to house a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Initial rumors indicate that the Nokia 9 would be priced around 749 euros (~$889). The Nokia 2 entry-level smartphone is also rumored to debut alongside the Nokia 9.
