Rumors have been claiming that the Nokia 9 PureView handset could be unveiled between the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) tech event that takes place at the beginning of January and the Mobile World Congress (MWC) tech expo that is usually organized at the end of February. Russian Nokia fan community with Twitter account Nokia Anew has claimed that the launch of the Nokia 9 PureView is only a month away.
Through its social channel on VK, Nokia Anew has revealed that the much-hyped Nokia 9 PureView will be announced in the last week of January. The reason why it is one of the most anticipated Nokia models is that it is believed to arrive with ZEISS certified penta-lens camera setup along with LED flash and a related sensor.
Live photos of the Nokia 9 PureView has revealed that it will be arriving with a notch-less display. Probably, it will carry support for an aspect ratio of 18:9. The frontal design of the smartphone may not differ much from Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones. The upper bezel of the phone will be housing a big front-facing camera and additional sensors like IR sensor. Just as the Nokia 8 Sirocco lacked a 3.5mm audio jack, the Nokia 9 PureView handset is unlikely to feature it.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset may power the phone along with 8 GB of RAM. It may include a 4,150mAh battery with wireless charging support.
