Nokia’s upcoming flagship smartphone, Nokia 9 PureView has been in development for many months and there is now a huge indication that this smartphone will be released before MWC, certainly before the end of March 2019. Now, HMD Global is working seriously on the development of a 5G version of the Nokia 9 PureView. This version is expected to be released around August this year. The SoC has been replaced from the SD845 to Snapdragon 855, while it will support the new 5G network.
Nokia has devoted so much time to develop a flagship smartphone with a camera that can compete with the likes of iPhone, Samsung, and Huawei. The Nokia 9 PureView comes with a five rear camera design. In the core configuration, Nokia 9 PureView uses a 5.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6/8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It has a decent battery capacity of 4150 mAh, running Android Pie system. In addition, Nokia 9 PureView supports an on-screen fingerprint sensor, Nokia’s first screen fingerprint phone. On the one hand, it solves the problem of inconvenience in unlocking using a rear fingerprint sensor and on the other hand, it provides the visual integration of the whole machine. Not only that, Nokia 9 PureView supports IP68 dust/water resistance and wireless charging. The Nokia 9 PureView will be sold for about 6,000 yuan ($887). Is this not too expensive for this smartphone?
