HMD Global will be holding an online launch event for the Chinese market on August 4th next week. Although the identity of this handset wasn’t revealed by the company, but a recent e-commerce listing had hinted that the device could be none other than the Nokia C3.
In fact, the Nokia C3 should sounds pretty familiar as the device has recently made its appearance on Geekbench along with some of its crucial specs including its underlying Unisoc SC9863 SoC which will be tagged with 3GB worth of RAM.
Furthermore, there are also speculations that the Nokia C3 could also be the Nokia TA-1258 which was recently certified by the Chinese TENAA authority.
If that’s the case, then we can expect the device to feature a 5.99-inches SLCD display with HD+ screen resolution. In the camera department, there will be an 8 megapixels main camera at the back, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing selfie camera.
To keep its lights on, the device will also be fitted with a decent 3,040mAh battery which is capable of supporting hours of continuous usage.
Based on its preliminary specs, it is obvious that the Nokia C3 will be an budget-centric smartphone which will go head on with other entry-level smartphones including the likes of the recently announced Redmi 9A.
