Nokia entered the smartphone industry once again this year by launching a couple of smartphones such as Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. It had also launched a revamped version of the iconic Nokia 3310 feature phone. Recent reports have suggested that a new 4G enabled Nokia feature phone may debut in early 2018. Fresh information suggests that it could be a refreshed version of the older Nokia E71 feature phone.
Leaked information suggests that the alleged Nokia E71 (2018) will be a dual-SIM phone that will be running on Kai OS and it will be equipped with QWERTY keyboard. It is expected to house a 3.5-inch touchscreen display that may carry support 480p resolution. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 205 chipset and 1 GB of RAM. It is likely to feature an internal storage of 8 GB and a microSD card slot. For photography, it may arrive with a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera and user-removable battery.
The alleged Nokia E71 (2018) is unlikely to debut the phone in China. It is expected to be priced well below ~$150. As of this writing, there is no information available on its launch date. Speculations are rife that it may get unveiled alongside the upcoming Nokia 9 flagship phone.
