HMD Global has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone in the global market known as the Nokia G11 Plus. In terms of specs, this model appears to be positioned below the February-announced Nokia G21 smartphone.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new Nokia G11 Plus builds around a 6.5” IPS LCD display boasting a HD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Like most other entry-level smartphones, the Nokia G11 Plus adopts a waterdrop-notch design to accommodate a 8 megapixels front-facing camera which will be used for selfies and video calls.
Around the back of the phone, the Nokia G11 Plus features a dual-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit to help with portrait photography. Other than that, it also has a LED flash situated below the cameras for low-light photography.
Under the hood, the Nokia G11 Plus is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T606 chipset which will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card whenever you need more storage of media contents.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which has a standard 10W charging speed. At launch, the Nokia G11 Plus is available in two different colorways such as Lake Blue and Charcoal Gray. However, there’s still no words on it’s official pricing and availability at the time of writing.
