Nokia T20 10.4 debuts with Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset

HMD Global has unveiled a new entry-level tablet known as the Nokia T20 10.4 in the European market where it carries an affordable starting price of just €199.99 for it’s Wi-Fi models and €239.99 for the 4G models.

The Nokia T20 tablet builds around a 10.4” LCD display that offers a 2,000 x 1,200 pixels screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness (typical), as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to handle video calls. On the rear side, there’s also an 8 megapixels shooter as well.

Unlike most other budget-friendly slates in the market, the Nokia T20 sets itself apart with a premium sandblasted aluminium chassis which also carries an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, the Nokia T20 tablet is powered by an octa-core Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card. To deliver a more immersive audio experience for it’s users, the Nokia T20 also has a built-in stereo speakers.

In terms of accessories, HMD Global has also introduced a dedicated rugged case, rugged case with flip cover and stand, as well as Nokia Micro Earbuds Pro to go along with the tablet.

To keep it’s lights on, the Nokia T20 tablet is fitted with a mammoth 8,200mAh battery which according to HMD Global, is able to support around 15 hours of general usage.

Software-wise, the Nokia T20 will be shipped with Android 11 OS, and is entitled to two years OS upgrades as well as three years security updates.
