Today, HMD Global has launched the Nokia X6 as it first notched display phone through an unveil event in China. The company had been teasing the phone since the end of the previous month. Currently, the Nokia X6 is a China-exclusive phone, but the phone is expected to arrive in other markets in the coming months.
Nokia X6 Specifications and Features
HMD Global claims that 95 percent of the exterior of the Nokia X6 is made out of glass. The handset features an aluminum frame. It measures 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99 mm and comes in three colors like black, white and blue. It is fitted with an 19:9 aspect ratio supporting display of 5.8 inches that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The Snapdragon 636 powers the phone and it comes in three storage and RAM editions. The rear side of the phone features 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. For snapping selfies, it features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset receives power from 3,060mAh battery. It is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on its rear panel. The X6 comes preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Nokia X6 Pricing
The three variants of the Nokia X6 are 32 GB storage + 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 6 GB RAM. These models are respectively priced at 1,299 Yuan (~$204), 1,499 Yuan (~$235) and 1,699 Yuan (~$266). The availability of the Nokia X6 is yet to be confirmed.
