Nothing Phone 2 will be released later this year. In all likelihood, the successor to the Nothing Phone (1) will arrive in the second half of 2023. In a new report, MySmartPrice has leaked key details about the Phone (2).

Last year, the Nothing Phone (1) came equipped with an AMOLED panel on the front and a unique-LED layout on the back. The device came equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. As per the new report, the successor model will feature an AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rate support. The latter would allow the display to automatically adjust the refresh rate depending on the on-screen content.

The report states that the Nothing Phone (2) will feature a forthcoming Snapdragon 8-series chip from Qualcomm. While the previous model was an upper midrange phone, the Phone (2) could be a flagship level device. After all, the company’s CEO, Carl Pei, has said that the Phone (2) will be a more premium model than its predecessor.

The Phone (2) will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery, but there is no information on its fast charging capabilities. It is likely that the device will offer 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and support for virtual RAM. While the other details of the Phone (2) are yet to be confirmed, it is known that the company will focus more on offering a better user experience.

There is no information on the price of the device. It is speculated that the device may break cover in Q3 2023. The previous model was not available in the United States. However, the brand is now working with the US carriers to launch the Phone (2) in the US market.
