Nothing is scheduled to announce its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2), on July 11 globally. A recent leak, which revealed the press renders of the phone, revealed that its design will be similar to the Phone (1) from last year. The brand has also confirmed a few details about the smartphone. However, none of the reports revealed the camera specifications of the device. A tipster named Kamila Wojciechowska has not revealed the camera specifications, but also some other details of the Nothing Phone (2).
According to the tipster, the Nothing Phone (2) will have a pair of 50-megapixel cameras on the back. The primary snapper will be an OIS-enabled Sony IMX890 camera sensor, which is also available on the OnePlus 11. It will be joined by an EIS-enabled Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera with a 114-degree field-of-view.
For selfies, the Nothing Phone (2) will be equipped with a Sony IMX615 32-megapixel front-facing camera with EIS support. It will be equipped with an AMOLED display supplied Visionox, a display manufacturer from China, and it will feature a Goodix-made in-screen fingerprint sensor. Coming back to the display, the tipster claimed that the Nothing Phone (2) has a 6.72-inch display that supports a Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also supports power modes, such as 1Hz, 10Hz, 24Hz, and 30Hz.
Other reports have revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) will arrive with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB / 512 GB of internal storage. It will run on Nothing OS 2.0-based Android 13 and pack a 4,700mAh battery with 45W charging and wireless charging.
