After the launch of the more affordable Phone 2a, Nothing is already concentrating on its fourth smartphone. A new report suggests the London-based startup has found the ideal chipset for its next phone. According to 91Mobiles Hindi, it will debut in the market with the Nothing Phone 3 branding.
Nothing is currently teasing the arrival of its next pair of earbuds, the Ear (3). However, given Nothing’s launch trend, the phone (3) should not be that far off. The report, citing information from industry sources, suggests that the Phone 3 will likely feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. This new chip is a toned-down version of the 8 Gen 3 for affordable flagship smartphones.
This makes it an optimal choice for the Phone 3, which is meant to be a sub-flagship phone priced between Rs 40,000 ($480) and Rs 50,000 ($600). At present, the Phone 2 is the most expensive product in Nothing’s lineup. It was announced with a starting price of Rs 44,999 ($540) last year.
