First showcased at the IFA 2018 and later unveiled at the MWC 2019 this year, the Nubia Alpha wearable smartphone has gone official today in China. The Chinese manufacturer had held a dedicated launch event in the country to announce the arrival of Nubia Alpha.
The Black edition of the Nubia Alpha with 4G eSIM support is priced at 3,499 Yuan. The other 4G eSIM model with stainless steel about and 18k gold plating has landed in China with a price tag of 4,499 Yuan. Nubia has collaborated with Unicom to bring support for 4G connectivity on the Alpha wearable smartphone. The sales of the Nubia Alpha will begin for the first time on April 10 in China through leading channels such as official online store, JD.com, Suning Tesco and Tmall, All customers who purchase on the first day of its sales will get a pair of Nubia Pods wireless Bluetooth headset worth 799 Yuan for free.
The Nubia Alpha is equipped with a flexible 4-inch OLED display and it features a water-resistant body. The Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset powers the wearable device with 1 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 8 GB and its packed with a 500mAh capacity. It is equipped with features such as mobile payments, fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring and sleep monitoring. The device features a 5-megapixel camera that can be used for video calls.
