A new Nubia smartphone that has a model number of Nubia NX651J received approval from the 3C authority of China. The listing suggests that it is a 5G-capable flagship phone from the company. Nubia has recently launched the Nubia Red Magic 5G (NX659J) model number. Hence, it appears that the Nubia NX651J could be the next Z-series flagship phone from the Chinese firm.
The Nubia NX651J 5G phone’s 3C certification reveals that it could be arriving with a NB-A930A-USBA-1 / NB-A930A-USBA-C charger that will support up to 30W fast charging. Nubia had launched the Snapdragon 855+ powered Nubia Z20 smartphone in August last year. The newly spotted Nubia NX651J 5G could be a Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered device. It could be the successor of the Nubia Z20 dual display smartphone.
Nubia Z20 Specifications
The Nubia Z20 had featured a 6.42-inch notch-less OLED display on the front. It supports full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The rear shell of the device was fitted with a 5.1-inch AMOLED display that supported 720 x 1520 pixels resolution.
The Snapdragon 855+ SoC powered the device with up to 8 GB of RAM. The phone had come with up to 512 GB of built-in storage. The Android 9 Pie OS along with Nubia 7 UI came preloaded on the device.
The Nubia Z20 features a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 16-megapixel triple camera setup on its rear. It lacks a front camera. The rear cameras of the phone can be used to capture better selfie shots with the second display serving as viewfinder. It came with a dual side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4000mAh battery that supported 27W fast charging.
