If you still remember, last year’s Nubia Red Magic 5G was the first smartphone in the world to feature 144Hz screen refresh rate. The high refresh rate was subsequently adopted by other gaming flagship phones including the ASUS ROG Phone 3 (Review) and Lenovo Legion Duel to name a few.
Right now, Nubia’s president Ni Fei revealed that the upcoming Red Magic 6 smartphone will be arriving with an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate which once again showcases a new breakthrough in screen refresh rate.
This however, isn’t the only highlight for the Red Magic 6 as the device had already been confirmed to boast an incredible 400Hz touch sampling rate for its shoulder buttons. For context, the current Red Magic 5G has a 320Hz touch sampling rate – so that’s certainly a commendable upgrade.
Beside all these goodies, the Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone is also expected to feature an upgraded cooling system for delivering a sustained smartphone performance which is crucial for hardcore gamers. It is also tipped to bring along a respectable 4,500mAh battery that carries support for a mind-blowing 120W fast-charging.
Coincidentally, the March 4th launch date of the Nubia Red Magic 6 also falls on the same day as the Redmi Note 10 series and Realme GT 5G.
