The Nubia X flagship phone was announced on Oct. 31 and its first sale took place in China today at 10 AM. Few flagship phones such as Honor Magic 2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 have arrived with unique slider mechanism design. However, the Nubia X is cut above the rest since it features dual displays.
As it can be seen in the below image shared by Nubia, the popularity of the Nubia X is such that its 100 million units were sold out in just 57 seconds. The company has sold the entire first batch of the smartphone through its first sale.
On standby, the rear display can appear like a regular glass rear, but it can function as a second display to view the contents of the main display when the phone is flipped. It can also function as a viewfinder for the dual rear cameras to capture selfie shots. The handset does not feature a front-facing camera which allows the front display to sport a very high screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is equipped with dual fingerprint scanners placed on its either sides.
The Nubia X features 6.2-inch IPS LCD main display and 5.1-inch OLED screen on the rear. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 and 3,800mAh battery. For photography, it features 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel dual camera setup.
The next sale of the Nubia X dual screen phone will take place in China
