On July 23, Nubia will announce the Nubia Z60S Pro smartphone as a successor to last year’s Z50S Pro in China. Ahead of the launch, a couple of leaks have emerged on Weibo to showcase the key specifications of the Z60S Pro. In addition, Nubia has confirmed the device’s design.
Nubia Z60S Pro specifications (rumored)
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Nubia Z60S Pro will have a flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. The leaker claimed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power it and enable two-way satellite connectivity. He added that the idea behind launching this device is to democratize the satellite connectivity on affordable models.
The Z60S Pro will have a glass back and a metal middle frame. It will have a customized 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera with an 1/1.56-inch camera sensor, an f/1.59 aperture, and a 35mm focal length. According to another source, the camera setup may inherit the ultrawide and telephoto cameras from the Z50S Pro.
Therefore, the Z60 Pro may feature an autofocus-enabled 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D40 ultrawide lens with a 125-degree Field of View and a 13mm focal length that will pair with it. It will also double as a macro camera.
The triple camera unit will include an 8-megapixel Hynix HI847 telephoto camera with an 80mm focal length and OIS support. There is no information about the device’s front camera. It will house a 5,100mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The above image reveals that the device will be available in black, silver, and turquoise colors.
Apart from Z60S Pro, Nubia will also announce the Nubia Z60 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version through tomorrow’s launch event in China.
