Nubia has recently established a new sub-brand called Red Magic that will be launching gaming smartphones and other gaming devices. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has officially confirmed through its Weibo account that it will be holding an unveil event on April 19 to announce a new gaming smartphone called Red Devil. The company has dubbed it as the “first e-sports game mobile phone.”
There is no information available on the specifications of the Red Devil smartphone. However, since Nubia has already launched an 8 GB RAM powered Nubia Z17s smartphone in the previous month, it is likely that the upcoming Red Magic gaming phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 mobile platform and 8 GB of RAM. Previous reports have revealed that it will be equipped some features like air cooling, carbon nano-material chassis and 3D wind tunnel section structure. The handset is also speculated to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The Chinese manufacturer had showcased the prototype of the Red Magic gaming phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech expo in February and it is all set to unveil it next week.
Recent reports have claimed that it will be coming to China and Europe simultaneously and it will be also releasing in India later. It will be rivaling with Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming phone that will be debuting tomorrow.
