Last week, ASUS inadvertently released a promo video of the ZenFone 9 flagship phone. The Taiwanese manufacturer has now confirmed that it will be launching the ZenFone 9 on July 28.
As can be seen in the poster, ASUS will unveil the ZenFone 9 on July 28. The event will be held simultaneously in the US at 9:00 AM, in China at 3 PM, and in Taiwan at 9 PM. The poster also gives a look at the front design of the ZenFone 9. In addition, the company has also confirmed that it will be a compact phone.
The ZenFone 9 will arrive as the successor to the ZenFone 8, which debuted last year in May 2021. The leaked promo video of the ZenFone 9 revealed that it will be a promising device.

The ZenFone 9 will have a 5.9-inch OLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is likely to arrive with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It will run on the Android 12 OS.
It will be equipped with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. It will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back.
The ZenFone 9 will pack a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The device will also arrive with other features such as a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a ZenTouch slider button, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP68 rating.
