After launching the Honor 80 series smartphones last month, Honor is now back with the brand new Honor 80 GT smartphone which shapes up to be an affordable gaming-centric smartphone that offers plenty of processing power under the hood.
The new Honor 80 GT features a 6.67” AMOLED display sporting a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate which makes scrolling and animations felt smoother on the device. For selfies, there’s also a 16 megapixels front-facing camera situated within a centered punch-hole cutout.
Over on the rear side, the phone has a rectangular camera island which houses a trio of cameras lead by a 54 megapixels (Sony IMX800) main camera. This will be supplemented by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portrait shots.
Under the hood, the Honor 80 GT is powered by the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset as the Honor 80 Pro. This will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Honor 80 GT draws power from a respectable 4,800mAh battery which carries support for 66W fast wired charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with Magic UI 7 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Black, Blue and White. It’ll be priced starting from 3,299 Yuan ($475) for the 12GB+256GB variant and goes up to 3,599 Yuan ($520) for the top-of-the-line model featuring 16GB RAM and 256GB storage.
