After launching the Honor Play 30 and Play 30 Plus smartphones, Honor is now back with a new model dubbed as the Play 30M which comes with some minor upgrade over the May-announced Honor Play 30.
For starter, the new Honor Play 30M smartphone comes with a 6.5” TFT LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution alongside a 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the device also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera situated within a waterdrop-notch.
Over at the back, the phone has a square-shaped camera module which houses a pair of rear-facing cameras including a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portrait shots.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 30 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480+ chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage that can still be expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the device will be equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Coming to the software side, the Honor Play 30 boots on the Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Honor Play 30 is available in four different colors such as black, blue and Silver. The phone will be priced at just 1,299 Yuan ($181) for the 6GB+128GB trim in the Chinese market.
