Chinese smartphone maker Honor has announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Honor Play 6C in the Chinese market. The phone comes with several key highlights including a capable Snapdragon 480 chipset and a large 5,000mAh battery.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new Honor Play 6C comes with an average-sized 6.5” TFT display with HD+ screen resolution, fast 90Hz refresh rate as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video call. Over at the back, it also has another 13 megapixels camera for all your photography needs.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. Likewise, the phone is also fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support.
Apart from that, other noteworthy features also include the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack that allows the phone to support wired earphone.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Silver, Black and Blue. Pricing for the phone will start from 1,099 Yuan ($154) for the 6GB+128GB model and goes up to 1,299 Yuan ($183) for the top-of-the-line model featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
