There have been some rumors that Honor may soon announce a new midrange phone called the Honor X40i. Today, the brand released an official confirmation of its launch date.
The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on July 13 in its home market to unveil the Honor X40i. The poster shared by the brand teases the camera module of the X40i.
Shown below is a leaked poster of the Honor X40i that has been doing the rounds on Weibo for the past few days. The oval-shaped camera module has two intersecting cameras, which gives it a number “8” look.
The intersecting area in the camera module of the Honor X40i houses an LED flash unit. Other than the camera module, the leaked poster reveals that it sports a flat-edge design. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the specifications of the device. The moniker of the device reveals that the X40i will succeed the Honor X30i, which debuted in October 2021.
