Chinese smartphone maker Honor has unveiled a new mid-range model dubbed as the Honor X50i which carries an affordable starting price of just 1,499 Yuan ($217) in the Chinese market.
The new Honor X50i builds around a 6.7” LTPS LCD display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
At the back, the phone has an unique dual-ring camera design which houses a pair of cameras comprising of a 108 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portraits.
Under the hood, the Honor X50i is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery which supports 35W fast wired charging. Aa far as software is concerned, the Honor X50i will be shipped with Magic UI 7.1 based on Android 13 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Honor X50i is offered in four different colors such as Black, Blue, Pink and Light Blue. Pricing for the phone starts from 1,499 Yuan ($217) for the 8GB+256GB trim and goes up to 1,699 Yuan ($246) for the highest-end model with 12GB+256GB configuration.
