After several months of hiatus, Taiwanese phone maker HTC is finally back to the smartphone space with the launch of it’s new U23 Pro smartphone in the global market. The new model carries a starting price of NTD16,990 ($550) and is available in two different colors such as Black and White.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new HTC U23 Pro features a 6.7” OLED display sporting a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate which promises a smooth viewing experience. To help with selfie and video call, there’s also a 32MP front-facing camera tucked into a centered punch-hole cutout.
Speaking of photography, the U23 Pro relies on a quad-camera system on the rear side comprising of a 108 megapixels main camera which will be accompanied by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 5 megapixels macro shooter as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 4,600mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging support.
For those who’re interested, the HTC U23 Pro is priced starting at NTD16,990 ($550) for the 8GB+256GB trim and goes up to NTD17,990 ($585) for the top-of-the-line model with 12GB+256GB configuration.
