After launching the Huawei Nova Y61 smartphone in the global market last week, Huawei is now back with a new entry-level slate dubbed as the MatePad SE 10.4 that brings along several noteworthy features such as a 2K display, Snapdragon 680 chipset as well as a decent battery life.
Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 Specifications
The new Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 as it’s name suggests, comes with a 10.4” LCD display sporting a 2,000 x 1,200 pixels screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. Like most other MatePad series tablets, the MatePad SE 10.4 features a relatively slim chassis measuring just 7.85mm.
For imaging, it’ll be handled by a 5 megapixels rear snapper, while selfies and video conferencing will be taken care by a 2 megapixels front-facing camera which sits along the upper bezel (when the slate is held horizontally).
Under the hood, the Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.
To provide users with a more immersive entertainment experience, the MatePad SE 10.4 is also backed by a dual speaker system tuned by Huawei Histen 8.0 technology which is capable of widening surround sound field and enhance human voice, making each call, line in the film, and online class crystal clear.
To keep it’s lights on, it comes with a respectable 5,100mAh battery with 10W wired charging support. As usual, the tablet will be shipped with Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS 3.0 out of the box.
Pricing & Availability
The Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 is offered in a single Graphite Black colorway. At the moment, the company has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the tablet.
