After launching the Huawei Nova Y71 smartphone earlier this month, Huawei is now back with a slightly higher-end model dubbed as the Nova Y91 in the global market which not only features a brand new design, but also better hardware such as a faster processor and a larger battery capacity.
For starter, the new Huawei Nova Y91 builds around a 6.95” TFT LCD display which offers a sharp-looking FHD+ screen resolution and a fast 90Hz refresh rate. One interesting feature here is the adoption of a wide rectangular notch which houses the earpiece as well as an 8MP selfie camera.
Flipping the phone over, we’ll be greeted by a circular camera island which is home to a pair of rear-facing cameras lead by a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels macro unit to help with close-up photography.
Under the hood, the Nova Y91 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be paired up with 8GB RAM as well as an option between 128GB or 256GB onboard storage. Likewise, it also features a respectable 7,000mAh battery which supports a relatively fast 22.5 wired charging speed.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Starry Black and Moonlight Silver. Sad to say, pricing and availability of the Huawei Nova Y91 has yet to be announced at the time of writing.
