Earlier this year, Huawei had announced the Nova Y60 smartphone in the global market. Now, the company is back with a new model dubbed as the Nova Y61 which comes with a slightly different design and specs sheet.
The new Huawei Nova Y61 builds around a 6.52” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies and video calls, it also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Over at the back, the Nova Y61 features a triple rear camera system comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera and a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Nova Y61 is powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that supports further expansion via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support. The phone as usual, will be shipped with EMUI 12 based on Android 12 (AOSP version) out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different color options such as Sapphire Blue, Mint Green and Midnight Black. As of now, the official pricing and availability of the Huawei Nova Y61 has yet to be announced by the company.
