Chinese electronics giant Infinix has confirmed that the company will be launching a new entry-level smartphone known as the Infinix Smart 6 on April 27th next week. Since this is the same device which was made made official globally back in October last year, most of it’s specs had already been made public – so let’s have a quick recap!
Starting with the front, the Infinix Smart 6 comes with a 6.6” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help handle selfie and video calls.
Around the back of the phone, there’s a square-shaped camera module which is home to a pair of cameras including an 8 megapixels wide camera, as well as an auxiliary camera. On top of that, you can also find a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner at the back as well.
Just like most of the recent entry-level smartphones, the Infinix Smart 6 is powered by an octa-core UNISOC SC9863A chipset which will be coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
At the helm, the device draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 10W charging speed. On the software side, it’ll be shipped with Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.
