Official: Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset & 50MP triple cameras

Chinese smartphone maker Infinix has announced a new mid-range model dubbed as the infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo which packs largely the same design and specs as the Zero 5G 2023, except for an upgraded chipset.

For starter, the new Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo builds around a 6.79” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered punch-hole cutout.

Flipping the phone over, there will be a triple-cam setup which is housed within a rectangular camera module. These cameras include a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

Under the hood, the Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. Finally, it’s also equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast wired charging.

Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Submarine Black, Coral Orange and Pearly White. The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo will be priced at just INR19,999 ($243) for the 8GB+256GB model in the Indian market.
