So here it is! Apple has finally announced that the long-awaited iPhone 12 series will be making its global debut on October 13th which is less than a week from now. This upcoming event will bear the tagline “Hi, Speed” which seems to be teasing on the new Apple A14 Bionic chip as well as support for the latest 5G connectivity.
Just like the recent September 15th event, where the company launched the all-new iPad Air, 8th Generation’s iPad, Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 6 and the Apple Fitness+ service, the upcoming October 13th event will also be held virtually.
This time round, Apple will reportedly be launching a total of four different models within the iPhone 12 series lineup. These devices include a 5.4″ iPhone 12 Mini, 6.1″ iPhone 12, 6.1″ iPhone 12 Pro, as well as a 6.7″ iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The key differences between these devices will lie within their camera system. For iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12, both devices are expected to arrive with a dual rear camera system.
The higher-end iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max on the other hand, will be arriving with three cameras at the back including the new LiDAR scanner that we’ve been hearing for quite some time. Other than that, we can expect all these devices to feature the usual OLED display with the latest A14 Bionic chip.
