Chinese smartphone giant iQOO has announced a new upper mid-range model known as the iQOO Neo 7 Pro in the global market which brings along several noteworthy changes over the iQOO Neo 7 that was launched back in February this year.
The new iQOO Neo 7 Pro features a 6.78” AMOLED display boasting a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate as well as HDR10+ support. For selfies and video calls, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered hole-punch cutout.
Over on the flip side, the phone sports a square-shaped camera housing that features a trio of cameras which include a 50 megapixels (Samsung ISOCELL GN5) main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset instead of the Dimensity 8200 platform which was used on the vanilla iQOO Neo 7 smartphone. This will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 120W wired charging. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Fearless Flame and Dark Storm. Pricing for the iQOO Neo 7 Pro starts from INR34,999 ($425) for the 8GB+128GB trim and goes up to INR37,999 ($465) for the top-of-the-line model with 12GB+256GB configuration.
