Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has officially confirmed that the company will be launching the much anticipated iQOO Neo6 smartphone on May 31st in the Indian market. Despite sharing the same moniker as the model that was launched in the Chinese market, the Indian variant is expected to feature largely different specs as the one launched in China.
Along with the launch date confirmation, the teaser released by the company also shows off the device in two different colorways including Dark Blue as well as another with an iridescent sheen. Design-wise, the device appears to share a close resemblance to the Chinese variant apart from the new colors.
Even though the Chinese variant is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, iQOO has confirmed that the Indian version will be powered by a slightly toned-down Snapdragon 870 chipset instead. Other than that, the device was said to feature a hefty 12GB+256GB configuration along with an impressive score of more than 740,000 points on AnTuTu.
For an all-rounded gaming experience, recent teasers also revealed that the iQOO Neo6 will equipped with an advanced “Flagship Cascade Cooling System” as well as an immersive 4D gaming vibration courtesy of the presence of a linear motor. Also, the phone will feature a blazing-fast 80W wired charging speed that’s capable of filling up a completely flat battery from 0 to 50% in merely 12 minutes.
