Chinese smartphone giant iQOO has officially announced the new iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition smartphone that comes with several changes over the iQOO Neo7 that was launched back in October last year.
The new iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition features a 6.78” AMOLED display boasting a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate as well as HDR10+ support. For selfies and video calls, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered hole-punch cutout.
Over on the flip side, the phone sports a square-shaped camera housing that features a trio of cameras which include a 50 megapixels (Samsung ISOCELL GN5) main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset instead of the Dimensity 9000+ platform which was used on the vanilla iQOO Neo7 smartphone. This will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage in the memory department.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 120W wired charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colors such as Orange, Blue and Black. Pricing for the iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition kicks off from 2,799 Yuan ($400) for the 8GB+256GB model and goes up to 3,599 Yuan ($517) for the top-of-the-line model with 16GB+512GB configuration.
