Recently, we’d learned about the existence of the iQOO Z6 5G after an alleged teaser of the phone was leaked on Twitter. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the phone will be officially announced on March 16th next week.
Despite launching under the Z series lineup, the iQOO Z6 5G is reportedly a rebranded model of the Vivo T1 5G which was launched in the Chinese market last months. Nonetheless, this device will be succeeding last year’s iQOO Z5 5G and is touted to be the fastest 5G smartphone in it’s segment.
In terms of specs, the iQOO Z6 5G is expected to feature a 6.58” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfie and video calls, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing snapper housed within it’s waterdrop-notch upfront.
At the back, it will arrive with a square-shaped camera module which is home to a triple-cam setup that’s likely to include a 50 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Just like the recently announced Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, the Vivo T1 5G is also powered by the new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset under the hood. This may be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB worth of expandable storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo T1 5G is expected to be equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. As usual, the phone will be shipped with FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
