iQOO recently unveiled the iQOO Z6 and the iQOO Z6x smartphones in China. These phones are different from the iQOO Z6 5G, Z6 Pro 5G, and Z6 44W that are available in India. Today, the Indian wing of the brand confirmed that it will unveil the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G on Sept. 14 in India.
The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G’s microsite is now available on Amazon India’s website. The listing reveals that the phone’s waterdrop notch display carries support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
The back panel of the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G features two camera rings. The top one seemingly houses the main snapper, while the bottom one features two auxiliary cameras. Later this week, the company will share some details about the Z6 Lite’s cameras.
The Z6 Lite will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, which will come with support for dual SIM 5G. Recent reports have claimed that it will feature a new Snapdragon 4-series chip. Rumours are rife that the new chip may debut with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 moniker. Apart from the blue edition, the device is likely to come in black model.
Rumors surrounding it have claimed that it could be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. It is likely to be positioned under the iQOO Z6 5G, which costs Rs 15,499 (~$194) in India. The Z6 Lite is expected to go on sale in the fourth week of this month.
Speculations are rife that iQOO is also working on another model called the iQOO Z6 Pro SE. At present, there is no information on its launch date and specifications.
