Several reports have claimed that iQOO will be launching the iQOO Z6 series of smartphones in China before the end of this month. Today, the Chinese manufacturer took to Weibo to confirm that it will be unveiling the iQOO Z6 series at 7:30 PM on Aug. 25 in China.
Reports have revealed that the iQOO Z6 series will include two devices, the iQOO Z6 and the iQOO Z6x. The company put out some posters to show how the iQOO Z6 series looks, which suggests that both devices may have a similar look.
The handset shown in the above poster seems to be the iQOO Z6. It has a curved-edge rear panel featuring an OIS-enabled triple camera unit. The device will be available in three colors: black, blue, and orange.
According to recent reports, the iQOO Z6 will be equipped with an IPS LCD panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus mobile platform. There is no word on the battery size, but it is officially confirmed to support 80W fast charging. The rear camera setup of the device is likely to house a 64-megapixel primary camera.
There is no concrete information on the specifications of the iQOO Z6x. However, its 3C certification has revealed that it will carry support for 44W fast charging. With a couple of days remaining for the launch, the company is expected to confirm more details of the iQOO Z6 and Z6x soon. At present, both devices are available for pre-booking on Vivo China’s website and JD.com.
