iQOO has unveiled a new entry-range model dubbed as the iQOO Z7i in the Chinese market. This model is part of the new Z7 series lineup which will be officially announced on March 20th later this month.
Right off the bat, the new iQOO Z7i builds around a 6.51” LCD display with HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, the iQOO Z7i comes with a rectangular-shaped camera module which houses a pair of cameras that include a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels macro unit to help with close-up shots.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. It’s in fact the first smartphone in the world to feature this newly inaugurated chipset.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 15W fast wired charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with OriginOS Ocean based on Android 13 OS.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Moon Shadow Black and Ice Lake Blue. Pricing for the iQOO Z7i starts from just 949 Yuan ($137) for the 4GB+128GB trim and goes up 1,099 Yuan ($160) for the top-of-the-line model with 8GB+128GB configuration.
