India-based smartphone maker Lava has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Lava Blaze Pro that’s targeted towards the budget conscious consumers, and will compete closely against some recent models such as the Realme C33.
The new Lava Blaze Pro features a 6.5” IPS LCD display offering a modest HD+ screen resolution which will be complemented by a fast 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera which will be housed within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, the Lava Blaze Pro comes with a trio of cameras that include a 50 megapixels main camera along with a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be further expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Lava Blaze Pro is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging. Other than that, it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as Android 12 OS.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from four different colorways such as Glass Gold, Glass Green, Glass Blue and Glass Orange. It’ll be priced at just INR 10,499 ($132) in the Indian market.
