Chinese smartphone maker LeEco has announced a new mid-range model dubbed as the LeEco S1 Pro that appears to be heavily inspired by Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro, including the presence of a Dynamic Island-like feature.
The LeEco S1 Pro builds around a 6.5” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls. The back of the phone on the other hand, has a 13 megapixels camera housed within a square-shaped camera module.
Under the hood, the LeEco S1 Pro is powered by an octa-core Zhanrui T7510 chipset fabricated under a 12nm process. This will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which should be expandable via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 10W wired charging. As far as software is concerned, the LeEco S1 Pro will be shipped with Huawei’s HMS software instead of Google’s GMS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Black and Blue. Pricing for the phone is set at just 899 Yuan ($134) for the 8GB+128GB trim in the Chinese market.
